		<description>Doing that (through iTunes) restores things that you don&#039;t event want, like your high scores on a stupid game you haven&#039;t bothered to install again.

Doing it the other way makes your iPhone faster and more stable.</description>

		<description>Just update through itunes. All your data is backed up and after the update everything is restored. I did that for my 2.1 iphone 3g and worked like a charm. No need for dirty hacks you dirty bastard ;)</description>
