The background music for this is : The Pharcyde / The Rubbers Song

If you already have the track start playback now, if not you can check it here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFSdegtEwwI

So to start off, this is basically the sound I’m used to right now. The Coup, Roots, Pharcyde, Tribe called Quest etc.

And this is what my desktop looks like more or less

What also has come to my attention recently is a very interesting site (God bless the Internet) containing links to a whole bunch of documentaries to stream.

the url reads http://topdocumentaryfilms.com

I guess the admin would appreciate no direct links to their site so you can copy and paste it for yourself.

There is a very substantial need for the human mind to have access to information, for some is a book, for some is a website, for some is their view out their window every morning. Regardless the medium, the result is what matters. And what by a very large percentage happens is that the information you perceive through your window, desktop window or paper is added to the information perceived by each and every one of us separately. However there has been very increased research towards the communication between people on a non-cognitive basis. Kind of like actually thinking about someone and them calling at the exact same time. For the “too-much-free-time” privileged there is an excellent talk from Rupert Sheldrake, Ph.D (you can call me Doctor) at Google Talks. He is not insane and he is a scientist, so I guess, hey…maybe the guy IS actually worth listening to.

Here’s the link to Dr. Sheldrake’s speech @ Google

Note : It is 1hr 37 min. long BUT it’s worth watching, maybe not the whole thing at once, take brakes, drink water steady pace and you’ll be fine.

The weather (for those who have been following our weather reports for the past month) has been anything but the usual, which was very interesting watching and we all took advantage of it (at least I hope so). Last weekend we decided to walk up a mountain. By any other circumstances it would’ve been extremely challenging, instead we caught a beautiful day and walked an amazing route.

We have also had some progress with the documentary editing from Africa, but we still haven’t exported something worth uploading, hopefully some time in the very near future we will have something good.

Another very positive thing worth noting is the respond we had with the Now! project. About 86% of our research showed that people aged 22 to 37 are interested in getting involved with sharing their pictures with each other. Our voting for the previous topic started Sunday Dec. 5th and it keeps getting better.

Goodbye (for now)
