Stop app

Stop is a small utility that allows you to schedule your iPhone's/iPod's music to stop.

It is an ideal tool for people who enjoy listening to music before going to sleep.
Using a simple interface it allows you to choose a time interval after which your playlist will pause.
You can also save a desired interval as default, so you can set your music to stop just by launching the app without even touching another button.

Stop is designed to use minimal battery, especially when the device is locked.

Features:
- Save a timeout as default for the next times you launch Stop
- Next button allows you to skip the current track right within the app
- View the title, artist and artwork of the song playing
- Uses minimal battery especially when the device is locked
- Option to automatically quit the app once it's done, which conserves even more battery life

  1. Help!! After last update the app crash; i can’t use it no more. I have 3gs 3.0.1
    thank you

    • I have tested on 3G and 3GS 3.0.1 and 3.1 but I can’t reproduce the problem. I will look into it more and let you know.

I am confident that the following will solve the problem:
      - Restarting your iPhone, if you haven’t already.
      - Deleting the app and re-installing it.

Please, let me know how it goes.

      Thanks :)

  2. Stop 1.2 is in review. It addresses the crashes reported on non-English crashes. Should be online in 10-14 days.

  3. Après téléchargement l’application ne démarre pas,une image s’affiche et le programe crashes.
    Merci de trouver une solution.

    • As stated above, the app had an issue with non-English iPhones which has been addressed with an update. The update is in the approval process by Apple so it should be online within a week. Thank you for you patience :)

  4. Hello Mr Doukas,

I posted a note on the iPhone Beta dev forum on your thread about the way the Compass App quits…
I am trying to implement the same behavior, but can’t get the posted code to work.
Could you tell me how you implemented it ?
Thanks for any help in this matter…

  5. Thanks ! Didn’t know it was you !

    It’s working now…
